About Plum Crazy Robotics — Robotics School in NJ
9+ years of hands-on STEM education for kids in Marlboro, NJ. The only robotics school in New Jersey teaching real mechatronics engineering — Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Python, combat robotics, and AI — to kids ages 5 and up. Small classes. Real tools. Real results.
Our Story
Plum Crazy Robotics was founded in 2016 with a simple belief: kids learn best when they build things with their hands. What started as a small robotics workshop in Marlboro, New Jersey has grown into one of the most comprehensive STEM education programs for kids in NJ — serving children ages 5 and up across Monmouth County and Central New Jersey.
We’re not a franchise. We’re not a screen-time app. Instead, we’re a hands-on robotics school in NJ where every student gets individual attention, works with professional tools like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ESP32, and builds real projects — from basic circuits to combat robots to AI systems. If you’re looking for robotics classes for kids in NJ that teach real engineering, this is where it happens.
As a result, our programs operate on a selective, phased model. Students earn their way from Phase 1 Foundation through Phase 3 Innovator through demonstrated skill and commitment. Small class sizes (maximum 6, just 4 for our most advanced phase) mean every student gets genuine mentorship — not a seat in a crowded room.
What We Believe
Real Tools, Real Skills
Soldering irons, Arduino boards, multimeters, Python — not toy kits and drag-and-drop. Because professional tools build professional confidence in our robotics classes for kids.
Earned Advancement
Progress is merit-based. In fact, not everyone advances to every phase — and that’s the point. Real achievement means something.
Small By Design
We limit class sizes because individual attention matters. Every student is known, challenged, and supported.
Future-Ready
AI isn’t coming — it’s here. However, our students won’t just use it. They’ll understand it, build with it, and lead because of it. That’s why we offer coding & AI classes alongside our robotics programs.
